Akigase Park, Saitama city

 This park is located on the riverbed of the Arakawa River, which flows at the western edge of Saitama City, from Akigase Bridge to Hanekura Bridge, about 3 km upstream.

In 1966, it was planned to cope with the shortage of parks and green spaces due to the expansion of the city, and was established in 1971.

It is a vast green park that harmonizes with sports facilities such as baseball fields, soccer fields, and tennis courts, and green areas such as grass fields, children's forests, and picnic forests.

Uminomieru Park in Yokohama

Minatonomieru Park, also known as Harbor View Park, is a waterfront park located in Yokohama, Japan.

Shiroyone Senmaida

Shiroyone Senmaida is a scenic area located in Wajima City, Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. It consists of over a thousand small rice paddies, each spanning just a few square meters, arranged in a steep slope facing the Sea of Japan. The unique and picturesque landscape has been designated as one of Japan's Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems. 

 The history of Shiroyone Senmaida dates back to over 400 years ago when the locals started building these small rice paddies to cultivate rice on the sloping terrain. The area is named Shiroyone, meaning "white rice", due to the high-quality rice that is grown there.

The scenery is particularly stunning during the planting season in May, when the rice paddies are filled with water and the reflection of the sunset creates a beautiful glow.
